I really cannot see how this could at all work out. This gives me hope that Orcs, have some traits of good in them, even if it is small aspects. How many orcs will Try and avenge another dead orc? Most will just forget about the dead one. And Bolg sets out to march upon Erebor in vengeance of his fathers death. Azog had brought up his son, well enough that he actually acknowledges him as his own son.

I believe that Azog and Bolg are possibly the only two orcs who may be an exception to the typical evil nature of an orc. Thoughts? this is quite interesting to think about What would happen to him? Would he quickly die due to the ring no longer being present? What would frodo do with him? What life would he live if he survived doing good? Something happens similar to the above possibility, and he stays alive. Instead of biting his finger off, he fights him until he gets the ring off but accidently falls and dies, saving frodo, and the fate of middle earth intentionally. Say he sees Frodo take the ring for himself, and realises the failure of their whole quest. I like the way gollums story ends, but i really think it would have been much more emotional if he finally came to his senses, and his last deed was for the better.

What if he survived doing good OR what if he died in his good personality? We are talking about a completely alternative ending here from the actual story.
